Through to the next round,.

And I’m “through”.

As you know, my second meeting with the Vocational Guidance Councellor last Tuesday, and it went really well. Yesturday, I got a phone call saying I should write a “mostly formal” CV/Letter to the Warden of Ordinands. As the VGC keep reminding me, the process is glacial, but at least it’s moving forward. I have also been asked to help out at a service on the 28th of October, I’m not quite sure that that entails, but I will keep you posted.

As an asside, I’ve also got to get myself another CRB check. I’ve already done one for Woodcraft, and now I have to do another one for the church. AT this rate at least I’ll know that I’ve not broken the law =). It annoying to think that you cant’ just get a certificate, and a number, rather like the RHCT certificates, that gives a list of what is known about you.. some way of making the damn thing transferable. I suppose it’s all about Data Protection, but surly where the protection of kids is concern that’s a lesser concern?perhaps something you sign up too?
