The Results of the Provincial Selection Process

They told me, finally.

Okay, so they told me A week last Saturday, and it’s taken me this long to be able to have a few minits together to post this. I don’t really have these minits either, but I figured that I should put it up.

The mad fools, for what ever reason (I will find out on Wednesday) have decided that they are going to recommend me for training. Me. For Training.

Wow.

So, then it’s all the panic stuff. We went down to the college on Monday to have a look around and it’s amazing. Rosslyn remarked that it was definately a “Seat of Learning”. I can see that I will enjoy myself there.. if only I can afford it.

We got a rather unhelpful letter last night listing what appears to be the maximum amount of money that I will be getting to train. The worrying thing was that from this letter it doesn’t begin to cover the house that we own, let alone other expenses (old loans and the like). We knew that money was going to be tight, but not non-existent.

As I’ve said before, we are going to see our DDO tomorrow, so with a bit of luck he can clarify the point, and things might not be as bad as they currently seem.
