Mental Disorders of Batman

Sometimes, you bounce around the web looking for random crap, through my friend and yours, Stumble, and suddenly you find something…. unexpected.

I found a site talking about the mental disorders of Batman. We all know he has them. Interestingly, it was then pointed out that the possible “homosexual” overtones between Batman and Robin should make the list of 10, a list of 11.

It is true that in DSM III, (that is, a list of what characteristics count as a mental disorder), Homosexuality was included, but it was removed in DSM IV. Fair enough, someone not knowing that the DSM list had been updated could be forgiven for the post. However, from then on, it gets a little.. weird.

About halfway through the comments, someone decides to dive on the homosexual bashing bandwagon. Waving the flag that says that it’s not natural. From the reading of the post, this is yet another person claiming that their religion says that it’s wrong, and almost says that being aethest is on the way to being gay.

Amazing how blinkers can ruin a perfectly good post. This is not the first time that people like this have ruined things for others with their narrow views.
